When it comes to rug placement, there are a few guidelines to keep in mind. For a 5x8 rug, it's recommended to leave 18 to 24 inches of exposed floor around the perimeter, with the furniture legs off the rug. This size is perfect for small spaces.

An 8x10 rug, on the other hand, will fill the visual space of a seating area, with the front legs of all furniture placed around the edges. Again, leave 18 to 24 inches of exposed floor around the perimeter.

For larger rooms, a 9x12 rug will fill most of the space, and all furniture should be placed directly on top to maintain an intimate feel. As with the other sizes, you'll want to leave 18 to 24 inches of exposed floor around the edges.

All our rugs are made with plush, medium-height looped pile that is soft underfoot and stain- and fade-resistant. The jute backing is safe for wood floors, and the authentic cotton fringe adds a nice touch of detail.

These rugs are suitable for a variety of rooms, including the living room, family room, dining room, or bedroom. They arrive factory-rolled and may have some minor creases from packaging and storage, but these normally flatten within 5-7 days. You can help the process by rolling the rug pattern-side up and massaging it by hand, or by laying it out in a sunny room (the heat helps loosen the backing).

Cleaning these rugs is a breeze. For spills, simply remove any excess material and blot with a clean, wet cloth. Avoid rubbing, as this can make stains harder to remove. You can then use a cleaner or a solution of water and dish detergent, followed by blotting with a clean, wet, and then dry cloth.
